This painting was done from photos taken from one of our family camping sessions in Manning Park. On this occasion we weren't lucky with the weather but when it improved, I was busy scouring the terrific area for subjects I knew would make great paintings. The contrast with the light caught my eye for this one. It was not hard to get excited.
